Two days before my senior year of high school started I bought a stock 1994 Honda Prelude Si for $7200 cash. By the time I graduated I had put a lot of time, work, and money into it.

By the time I sold it just after my second year of college I had won car shows all around Louisiana and a few in other states. I was sponsored by an audio and graphics company at one point and a member of the most prestigious car club in Louisiana. During the three years I had that car I had some incredible times with a ton of great people.

Like many BMXers of my generation the movie Rad had a huge impact on me. The intro to the cheesy 80’s film was quite literally my very first introduction to freestyle bike riding and precisely what got me hooked for life. Who knows where I’d be in life if I had never seen this…
